Rise Beyond Forgiveness
Forgiveness is often viewed as the ultimate path to healing. While it can be a powerful tool, it can also create a dynamic where we see ourselves as right and others as completely wrong. It can lead us to become martyrs, feeling virtuous for our ability to forgive, yet it can also foster an unrecognized egoism. Furthermore, forgiveness can contribute to a cycle of victimhood, resentment, and self-proclaimed heroism. Individuals who find comfort in forgiving others may inadvertently invite more offenses so that they have opportunities to forgive and feel better about themselves. This can lead to an addiction to the cycle of offense and forgiveness.
When we elevate our consciousness and view people or situations from a higher perspective, we understand that we may have invited certain offenses into our lives for growth. In this light, forgiveness may sometimes mask our true need to confront these offenses. The wrongs we experience from others can be seen as gifts, albeit wrapped in dirty packaging, serving a purpose in our personal development.
By raising our consciousness, we can liberate others from our expectations and free ourselves from the patterns of growth that arise from adversity. This shift allows us to let go of our need to defend ourselves and challenge our distorted beliefs about our safety.
When our focus shifts from victimhood and martyrdom to recognizing our brilliance, we understand that our experiences were orchestrated at a higher level and that we played a role in planning them. The loving energy of Redikall encourages you to detach from the experiences, people, or situations that make you feel compelled to forgive the wrongful actions of others continuously.
