Inner Joy
Blog post by Mamatha Honnavar
We all crave for a deeper sense of happiness that goes beyond fleeting pleasure & that’s inner joy. The inner joy, a wellspring of contentment resides within us all. It’s also independent of external circumstances.
However, most of the time we may look for it or search for it outside of us. We wait for the so called favourable situations, or people to be with us & then feel the joy. This wait of waiting for others, may become eternal and may make us thirsty for Joy & Happiness, even though there is a fountain of joy within.
Being & growing with inner joy can be cultivated and with practice of enjoying the little joys of life, we expand our horizon to welcome the bigger joys. We need to understand that we are the magnets attracting every kind of experience in our life. It’s time to turn the magnet towards attracting the positive aspects, so that we can grow easily, effortlessly & with a lot of fun.
Train your mind to appreciate the good in your life, big or small. Start a gratitude journal or practice mindful appreciation throughout the day. Prioritize activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul. This might include exercise, meditation, spending time in nature, or indulging in a relaxing hobby.Volunteer your time or perform acts of kindness to experience the joy of giving.
Once again, here are the most easy steps to train your mind to rediscover the inner joy & that’s Redikall Statements.
